Activity about continents.

Last monday, in Euni class, our teacher proposed us to do a new activity that consisted in learning very interesting things about the world, like which continent is the biggest, which continent has the biggest amount of money, which is the most poulated... For that we use 19 chairs, one for each of us, and with those chairs we had to guess in percentage. For example, the first question was about the area that took all countries and that was the solution: -6 chairs for Asia -3 for South America -2 for North America -1 for Europe -1 for Oceania -4 for Africa -2 for Antartida

Scottish independence

Scottish first minister Alex Salmond has launched his government's independence blueprint, calling it a "mission statement" for the future. The 670-page White Paper promised a "revolution" in social policy, with childcare at its heart. The launch came ahead of next September's independence referendum. Alistair Darling, leader of the campaign to keep the Union, branded the document a "work of fiction, full of meaningless assertions". On 18 September, Scots voters will be asked the yes/no question: "Should Scotland be an independent country?" One day, I was looking what things has to do Blogger and I found a really interesting thing that was Google's translator for Blogger and because of I found it so interesting, I decided to put it in my blog. Few weeks ago and we learnt , came a german teacher to our school called Dan. We did about five classes and we learnt things like, numbers, the verb "to be", basic phrases... I'm very happy learning german because It is a language that I like very much.

Croatia, The number 28

The news: On Monday 1 July Croatia will become the 28th Member State of the European Union. Croatia's accession marks another milestone in the construction of a united Europe. It also provides fresh evidence of the transformative power of the European Union: torn by conflict only two decades ago, Croatia is now a stable democracy, capable of taking on the obligations of EU membership and of adhering to EU standards. Croatia's accession shows that the European perspective is real for those countries firmly committed to the EU agenda. It is a clear signal for the region: the EU keeps its commitments if the necessary reforms are delivered and conditions are met. Croatia's accession will be celebrated in Zagreb on Sunday 30 June and Monday 1 July. The European Commission will be represented by President Barroso, Vice-President Reding, Commissioner Füle and Commissioner Mimica. On 30 June the EU Delegation in Zagreb will close its doors and the following day the European Commission Representation will open. Paschendale

The other day I was listening to music in my mobile phone when I heard a song called "Paschendale". This song talks about a battle that took place in Belgium and it was a campaign of the First World War, fought by the british and their allies against the german empire. Click Here

The last film I've watched since I'm writing this entry, was "Inglourious Basterds". The plot of this film is that a group of yiddish led by a american soldier, which had the aim of killing all german soldiers. The main actors in this film are Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender, Melanie Laurant. "Inglourious basterds" had won a lot of awards like: Oscar, Golden globe...
